Debut single Earwax was a distillation of the raw aspirations of the at the time four-piece collective, with a focus on vocalist Eva Rowan’s soaring vocals and lead guitarist Edward Gilmore’s nimble soloing. Moving into 2024, now equipped with bassist Bella Bryson, the group expanded their musical palette, and with the addition of Mark Beattie’s nostalgic synth sounds, Weeping Willows saw a transition to fuzz-driven guitar lines and driving rhythms to create a more intense track . With the release of their latest single Disconnected, the band, now joined by drummer Tom Clarke, embraces everything they have lived, learned and lost since 2024, placing emphasis on reverberating soundscapes and deliberate instrumentation to craft a poignant backdrop for lyrics of self-destructive behaviour and grief.
